The Preview
As you build, Studio shows a live Preview of your app. Use it to click around and check things work. A small badge reads Preview, Sample data, a reminder that the Preview runs on stand-in data.
- Check it on your phone: click Publish (the share icon in the Studio header) to open the Publish & Test panel, then use Test on Mobile to get a QR code ("Scan to test on your phone"). There is no separate desktop or mobile switch; the QR is the way to see the true mobile layout.
- Studio shows the finished, rendered app, not a code editor; you direct everything by chat. Your code is still yours: on a paid plan you can export it as a .zip at any time (see section 9).
- Some things only work on the live published site, not in the Preview: real API data and any AI features inside your app. When your app uses connections, the Preview badge even says APIs active on publish. Build the look and flow in the Preview, then publish to test those for real.
