Your data and AI training
Does Hamish train its AI on my projects?
Only if you say yes. Using your project data to improve Hamish LLM is opt-in on every plan, free and paid alike. It is never required, and saying no changes nothing about what you can build or publish. When you first use Hamish Studio on the Free plan you will be asked once, with two equal choices. Choosing not to share simply records your answer and you carry on building. You can change your mind at any time in Settings.
Is anything never used for training?
Yes. Some things are never used for training, whoever you are and whatever you choose: data belonging to the visitors and customers of your published apps, secrets and API keys, payment details, passwords and credentials, and your support conversations.
What does "anonymised" mean here?
If you do opt in, we remove account-level identifiers before anything is stored. Personal details typed into the text of a prompt, such as a name or an email address, are not yet automatically removed; we are building content-level scrubbing to close that gap, and our policy says so plainly rather than promising more than we do today. The full policy lives at hamish.app/legal/ai-training.
