Images and media
How do I add or change pictures?
On the Images page, use MEDIA LIBRARY to Generate a new image or Upload your own, edit it in the middle, then Assign to Slot to place it into one of the IMAGE POSITIONS in your app.
Do the images Hamish adds during a build cost anything?
No. The automatic build images (a banner plus up to two more) are included in your first-build cost. Images you generate yourself on the Images page cost 2 Build tokens each.
Can I upload my own logo or photos?
Yes, with Upload on the Images page. Uploads count towards your plan's storage limit (25 MB Free up to 2 GB on V-Pro).
I placed an image and then kept editing. Will it disappear?
No. Placed images are remembered and stay put as you keep iterating.
I asked for a specific image and got a plain background instead. Why?
Image generation follows content-safety rules, and some subjects, for example photos that feature children, can be declined by the generator even when the request is entirely innocent. When that happens during a build, Hamish uses a neutral background so your page still looks finished. You can replace it any time from the Images page: upload your own photo and Assign to Slot, or reword the image description in chat and ask Hamish to regenerate it.
